Auctions Where Everythings Under A Dollar
I am a single mom of two who just lost her job. While I am looking for other employment, I am looking for help with budgeting. Any suggestions on simple to use resources, etc... Also, I would welcome any tips you may have. Any help would be most welcome!
Many thanks

First, there are not get rich quick schemes. There are ways to get rich but they take time and effort. Even though, don’t be discouraged. Second, I subscribe to the Dave Ramsey mentality. Take a look at his website, there are a lot of free resources. Plus, you should be able to get his book from your local library for free.

cut out fast food/restaurants
cut down on your grocerie bill by: buying generic brand, buy frozen vegetables instead of fresh, cut down on snacks/impulse purchases by doing a grocery list, peruse flyers for good sales/coupons, 2x week have a really cheap supper like a box of KD and some frozen broccoli – still healthy and balanced and will save you lots of $.
do activities that are free like playgrounds, play catch/kick soccer ball around, board games, libraries, invite their friends over instead of movie theatres, kids play centres, zoos/museums.
cut out all non-essential purchases like clothing, toys, home decor.
I know it’s hard, but it’s good training and it’s only temporary.
Good luck with your job search.
